Shenzhen tourism earned 380m during National Day Holiday

Of the total tourists, over 3.71 million were domestic tourists, up by 0.95%, and the domestic tourism revenue was 3.375 billion Yuan, up by 3.21%. Shenzhen welcomed inbound tourists of 580,000, a 2.65 percent increase, with international tourism revenue of 66 million dollars, up by 10% over the same period of last year.
The tourists contributed more than 3.8 billion yuan (US$603 million) to the city’s tourism income. Other industries such as commercial retail, catering, entertainment and transport, also saw a boost.
The average domestic tourist who stayed in the city for one day spent around 550 yuan. Each of those who spent one night in the city spent around 1,318 yuan, according to the tourism office. Over 99 percent of the tourists were satisfied with the city’s tourism service, according to the office’s survey.
