Shenzhen to promote installation of solar water heating system
Shenzhen, China- Shenzhen will promote the installation of solar energy water heating system extensively during the “twelfth-five year” period, according to Shenzhen’s Twelfth-five Year Plan of Renewable Energy Construction Application issued recently. The Plan says all the newly built civil constructions with stable hot water demands and adequate installing conditions will be installed with solar energy water heating system.
With the sustainable high speed growth of economy and large increase of energy demands, the energy shortage has become a bottleneck for the development of Shenzhen’s social economy. So Shenzhen has determined to promote the solar application plan extensively. According to the Plan, a sound policy regulation and technical specification system for renewable energy construction application as well as an effective administrative supervision and management system will be established during the “twelfth-five year” period. By 2015, the construction and application area of the solar heating system will reach 1600 square meters.
The Plan says, during the “twelfth-five year” period, the newly built civil constructions with stable hot water demands and adequate solar water heating system installation conditions will be installed with solar water heating system. The newly built low-income housing will be all installed with the system. The installation area of the solar water heating system for newly built civil constructions shall not be less than 4 million square meters.
