Shenzhen has Japanese investment of up to $3.1 billion

Shenzhen, China- Eight transnational corporations from Japan earlier signed investment intentions with Shenzhen with total investment value of 7 billion Yuan, of which Japan’s AEON Group will build several commercial complexes in Shenzhen with single investment surpassing one billion Yuan.

As of May of this year, Japan had had totally 743 investment projects in Shenzhen, with contract value of 1.95 billion dollars and actual investment value of up to 3.1 billion dollars. Shenzhen now has over 400 Japanese corporations and over 4000 Japanese. Therefore, Japan has become one of the most important economic and trade partners of Shenzhen.

According to statistics, of the Japanese corporations that are among the world top 500, 45 ones have come to Shenzhen for investment, such as Sumitomo, Canon, Fujitsu, Panasonic, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Mizuho Bank, Ltd, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, which have been in Shenzhen for several years with good operation status. Fuji Electric, NITTO DENKO and other corporations also said they would seize the business opportunity brought by Shenzhen’s industrial development to enhance investment.
