Huawei aided Shanghai Unicom in IDC Operation Center

Shenzhen, China- Huawei, a global leading provider of information and communication solutions, recently announced that it has successfully assisted Shanghai Unicom IDC Operation Center in completing its attacking and defending exercise for network safety. The activity, which invited banks, security futures, large enterprises, the internet and the IDC exclusive channel customers, has utilized the IDC flow cleaning solution of Shanghai Unicom to conduct attacking and defending exercise by simulating the safety threads common in IDC network.

Along with rapid development of network, e-government affairs, on-line shopping, transaction in securities, internet bank and other services have been closely linked up with people’s daily life and the DoS attacks, once occurring, will cause serious impacts over the service providers and the network operators. The exercise, through monitoring the IDC defending system and cleaning the abnormal flux, has successfully defused the attacking threads. The exercise enhanced customers’ understanding over the IDC of Shanghai Unicom and their recognition over network safety.
