Shenzhen: unqualified school bus driver to be revoked
Shenzhen, China- The city’s Public Security Traffic Police Station and the Education Bureau issued a notice recently stipulating that the city’s school bus driver must go through examination again at Shenzhen Public Security Traffic Police Station and it substations before August 31. Only those who are qualified will be allowed to drive school bus in Shenzhen.
For those school bus drivers who have passed the examination, the city’s Public Security Traffic Police Station will mark with “Qualified” and official seal on the Check Sheet of Shenzhen School Bus Drivers. And those who are unqualified, their school bus driver licenses will be revoked. The examination items focus on whether the drivers have drunk driving records and seriously traffic offense behaviors within one year, such as overloading and over speeding.
The Education Bureau emphasized that they will join hands with the city’s Public Security Traffic Police Station to check the operation condition of the school buses before all schools open. From September 1, 2012, drivers without Check Sheet of Shenzhen School Bus Drivers will be deemed ineligible for school bus driving according to the School Bus Security Management Provisions.
