Two Policemen Shot Dead in Police Station in Shenzhen (Continued)
A young deputy director of a sub-police station, Yang Xu, and an old experienced cop, Wu Qianchun both died in a gun shot incident in the police station in Luohua District in Shenzhen. Both the men have gun wounds and knife cuts on their bodies, acc
ording earlier report.
Liang Weili, Political Commissar of Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau communicated the conclusion of preliminary investigation to the family members of Yang Xu. The two policemen quarreled that night over some work conflicts. After Yang stabbed Wu with a knife, Wu pulled the trigger and killed Yang. Wu then committed suicide for fear of punishment.
Policeman from the special investigation team told journalist the two cops stayed in the office for about 20 minutes and there was no other man present. During the fierce quarrel, Yang stabbed Wu on his right arm and belly. Then Wu pulled the trigger and shot Yang on his temple. After finding Yang had died, Wu then killed himself. The two shot were all triggered by Wu.
“Before making the conclusion, the police has conducted specific investigation, including identifying fingerprints on the trigger of the gun, measuring the DNA of the dead left on the warheads and accurately calculating the distance between the two persons when opening fire”, Liang Weili said. Further investigation is still on the way.
