Two Policemen Shot Dead in Police Station in Shenzhen
Shenzhen Police are investigating the death of two policemen who were found seriously injured in a pool of blood at a local police station in Luohu District on the night of September 13th.
The incident happened at 9:10 p.m. Thursday night. A police officer said he saw the two lying on the ground with severely gun wounds when walking into the office. They were bleeding profusely and were rushed to the hospital, but both died despite emergency treatment.
The two men were identified as Yang, 28 years old, deputy director of the police station, and Wu, 54 years old, an experienced cop. They both have good work records.
Deputy Director General of Shenzhen Public Police Station Zhu Zhiqaing told the media at about 00:20 a.m. that the two policemen were found severely injured in a pool of blood in the office at 8:40 p.m. last night and both died despite the emergency treatment in the hospital. He said there was no witness when the incident happened, but there was a monitor video in the corridor. The two men were found when a police officer went to the Yang’s office to report work.
The reason of the incident is unknown. Shenzhen police have started the investigation over the case.
