A world-class holiday resort to rise in Shenzhen
Dapeng New District and Oversea Chinese Town (OCT) Group Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement on October 10, agreeing to make joint investment to establish a tourism development company. On the signing ceremony, the new company Shenzhen Dapeng OCT Tourism Development Co., Ltd was opened. Wang Rong, Member of the Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, and leaders of Dapeng New District and OCT Group took part in the ceremony.
The signing ceremony is of great importance to the development of Dapeng New District. After signing the agreement, OCT Group, with over 20 years accumulated experience and strength for comprehensive tourism development, will conduct strategic cooperation on high quality large comprehensive tourism projects to promote the vigorous development of Dapeng New District and even Shenzhen city’s tourism and relating industries.
According to relevant introduction, Dapeng New District, locating in the southeast of Shenzhen with a total coastline of 130 kilometers, has full-bodied humanistic resources and high quality coastal resources. It is called the best ecological land and one of the most beautiful coasts in China, which has possessed the planning basis leading to a world class coastal ecological tourism destination. After established in 2011, Dapeng New District has focused on developing the ecological cultural and tourism industry and set a target of establishing a world class coastal ecological tourism holiday resort.
OCT Group, as world No.8 and Asia No.1 tourism scenic zone group, is an internationally well-known cultural tourism enterprise and also a beautiful city name card of Shenzhen.
