Isane man raised rumpus on plane

On the morning of October 12, a male passenger on a flight flying from Shenzhen to Xi’an suddenly cried out and tried to smash a porthole of the cabin, which raised a disturbance among the passengers on the plane. The man was finally brought under control and the flight successfully arrived at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport.

According to Ms. Du, a passenger on the flight, the Flight ZH9244 of Shenzhen Airline departed from Shenzhen for Xi’an in Shaanxi province at 06:40 a.m. on October 12. About 40 minutes after taking off, a man was found out of control emotionally and continuously spitting at passengers around. A stewardess tried to conciliate, but was abused and splashed with orange juice.

The man hit the porthole glass with his bloody hands and shouted，”I have companions and I have weapons.” The man was finally brought under control by the staff. The flight successfully arrived at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport at 9:30 a.m. The police and doctors who have waited at the engine room gate already took away the man.

The man was finally identified having mental problems, according to Shenzhen airport police and Xi’an airport police.
