Shenzhen plans 3 hundred-billion industrial clusters
Shenzhen will take the lead in starting the optimization and upgrading work in Shenzhen Bay and Liuxiandong area in the high-tech zone starting from this year. In the future three years plan, Shenzhen high-tech zone proposes to cultivate three over-hundred-billion industrial clusters of communication equipments, internet and software, aiming at promoting doubling of the value of gross output, the value of high-tech products and the industrial added value.
In the upgrading plan released, Shenzhen high-tech zone will take three to five year to assemble a batch of high level research and development institutions, introduce international innovative talents, establish a batch of transnational innovative enterprises, and build an international high-tech industrial base.
According to relevant person from Shenzhen Scientific Innovation Commission, in the future three years, the high-tech zone will realize doubling of the value of gross output, the value of high-tech products and the industrial added value, respectively 630 billion, 580 billion and 190 billion Yuan. On the aspect of performance indicator, the zone will realize gross output value of 54 billion yuan, high-tech product value of 50 billion yuan, industrial added value of 16.5 billion yuan, and tax revenue of 3 billion yuan per square meter. Additionally, the stragetic emerging industries’ added value accounts for 40% of the zone’s added value and the output of the private scientific enterprises accounts for 75%.
